Dollar Store Profits Explained
There’s a lot of buzz about selling on Amazon, but also a fair share of misinformation floating around. Many believe there’s only one way to do it, and that it’s complicated, time-consuming, and expensive. Here at Dollar Store Profits, we’re here to bust those myths! The great thing about how and what we sell is the ease of setup, launch, maintenance and of course, profit potential!
Before we dive into what Dollar Store Profits is all about, let’s clear the air about what it is not:
- Creating new products – Launching new products can be extremely lucrative, but it also comes with a lot of risk. Extensive upfront research is needed to determine if a potential product is in demand and will sell well on Amazon. Money will also need to be spent on manufacturing, packaging, and advertising the product. We aren’t doing any of that.
- White labeling existing products – This method involves branding and packaging generic products with your logo and labeling. Again, this can be a successful venture if you see an opportunity to rebrand a product that is already selling well, but there are risks. Money will need to be spent on packaging and advertising the product with no guarantee of success. No white labeling done at Dollar Store Profits.
- Creating product listings – Taking product photos and writing compelling product descriptions can be challenging, especially for newbies. You also have to adhere to Amazon’s stringent product listing guidelines. The good news is that we are not creating new lists at all following the Dollar Store Profits method.
- Spending money on pay-per-click advertising. Running ads can put a serious dent in your budget, often, with no guarantee of success. Keep that money in your wallet, because we don’t spend money on advertising here at Dollar Store Profits.
Alright, now that we have gotten that out of the way, here is what Dollar Store Profits involves:
- Selling products that are in demand – No more wishing, hoping or speculating about the demand for a product. With Dollar Store Profits, you already know the products you plan to sell are in demand. How? Because you are able to leverage tools (free and paid) to research if the product is already listed and actively selling.
- Selling products already listed on Amazon – Sidestep the hassle of creating new product listings and taking product photos. With Dollar Store Profits, you have the ability to sell products that already have Amazon listings, freeing up your time to focus on sourcing new product.
- Selling products readily available – No need to research manufacturers who may or may not allow you to sell their products on Amazon or deal with risky out of country vendors. The products you are selling following the Dollar Store Profits method can easily be found in abundance at your local dollar store.
- Selling products with significant profit potential – Imagine buying a product for $1 and then selling it online for $10, $15, even $20 or more. That is the beauty of selling dollar store products, the huge profit potential with very little upfront investment.
